About Jaya Godwin, M.A.

Jaya Godwin is a licensed Level 2 Provider of Tomatis® listening programs. She is a trained behavioral scientist and a career educator with over two decades of classroom teaching experience. She works collaboratively with clients and families to design and refine individualized programs that work for their goals.

In 2010, in search of tools for her adolescent son's struggle with auditory processing issues, Jaya traveled to France to undertake the Tomatis training. Her son was her first client; he followed a listening protocol that lasted 4 months. By the end of his next middle school year, his IEP had been laid to rest, his emotional and digestive issues were greatly improved, and he had grown a foot in height. The results were transformational.

Concurrently, Jaya implemented a protocol for herself that eliminated her acute tinnitus, the cause of great disruptions in her everyday life and sleep.  Her direct experience with the Tomatis Method led her to bring these programs to the Marin Listening and Learning Center in 2011, and she has been working directly with clients of all ages since then.  She is committed to helping others develop better listening as the path to better learning, better communication, and integrated wellness.

"For me, being a Tomatis provider is a calling - I am passionate about helping people reach their full potential."
